Bliss & Laughlin constructed the steel mill that was located on Hopkins Street in South Buffalo. The mill consists of a 130,000 square foot building that is used to manufacture steel bars. The mill was acquired by Ramco Steel in 1985, then by Niagara Cold Dawn Corporation, and finally by Niagara in 1997. The mill operates today under Niagara-Lasalle and has approximately 150 employees.
