The Edward A. Rath County Office Building was built in 1970 and is owned by Erie County. It can be found at 95 Franklin Street in Buffalo, New York. The building is home to the Erie County Executive’s office, the Department of Public Works, the Department of Motor Vehicles, and other assorted departments.

Spouses and family members of workers can also be exposed to asbestos dust and fibers from the clothing the workers wore home from job sites like the Rath Building.
