In the early 1900s, William Griffin and Edmund McKenna founded the Standard Buffalo Foundry. The foundry was also known as the Standard Foundry Company. It was located at 743 Hertel Avenue in Buffalo, New York, and was known for producing iron castings for the automotive industry. The foundry had 500 employees. The Standard Buffalo Foundry ceased all operations in 1959.
